At the time of booking overnight rooms, we will post a charge to your credit card of $35. This administrative fee is applied to your room rate but is not refundable in the event of a cancellation. If you must cancel your reservation, 7 days notice is required to avoid being charged one night’s lodging. For the Gardenview Loft, 50% of the weekly rate is charged at the time of booking with the balance due on arrival.

We use natural fibers (wool blankets, organic cotton sheets) and avoid feather products. As much as possible, we use scent-free cleaning products. Many, but not all, of our cooking ingredients are organic and locally-produced. If you have a special concern, please let us know so that we can make your stay comfortable.

Sorry, we do not accept pets in guest rooms. There is a kennel nearby or we would be happy to refer you to a B&B that will welcome your furry companion.

Absolutely! We have games and a selection of movies for kids, outdoor play equipment, a pack-n-play portable playpen and a highchair. We are happy to serve our smaller guests a special breakfast that they will enjoy.

The Loyalist and Acadian Rooms can accommodate up to two travelers only. The Beachcomber Room is priced for up to 4 travelers, with no extra charge. The Gardenview Loft can easily sleep 6 and there is no extra charge.

Yes! Single travelers receive a 10% discount on accommodations. Members of CAA/AAA receive a 10% discount on accommodations when you show your current membership card. We also participate in the Stash Tea ‘one night free’ promotion. For details on Stash, go to www.stashtea.com.

Absolutely! When you book your room, we’ll ask you about any dietary restrictions so that we can have the foods you enjoy. Gluten-free, dairy-free and vegetarian always available.

Sorry, health department regulations do not allow guests in our kitchen. We do, however, have refrigerator/freezer space for your personal foods or medications. We also have a self-serve coffee and tea service available 24-hours a day. Guests in the Gardenview Loft have the use of a fully-equipped kitchen.

For our overnight guests, we will prepare lunch or supper upon request, even if we are not open to the public. Please don’t hesitate to ask. Café Maplethorpe is open to the public for lunch Tuesday through Friday and for evening dining on Friday and Saturday nights.

Yes, we can help you with your Island wedding! Maplethorpe has hosted small indoor weddings, rehearsal dinners, wedding suppers after beach ceremonies and post-ceremony cocktail parties.
